I am a Tea person. Coffee, while good, has never quite hit the sport for me on the same level. But there is one Season where Coffee outweighs Tea- and that, is fall… And one notable thing about fall? The overabundance of Pumpkin.
Now Women in particular get a lot of flack when it comes to all things Pumpkin Spice. It’s the stereotypical “White Girl” thing. I never understood it, though, personally… Pumpkin is such a delicious, versatile cooking ingredient that it’s easy to fall in love with. In fact, I eagerly await the Autumn season because of everything from Pumpkin Soup, to Pumpkin Pie- and yes, even the saturation of Pumpkin Spice; what I really love is Pumpkin and Coffee.
- Pumpkin Spice Ground Coffee
- French Vanilla Ground Coffee
- Fulton’s Harvest Pumpkin Pie Creme Liquor
- Milk or Half and Half
- Sugar to taste
- Cinnamon for garnish
Measure out equal amounts of Pumpkin Spice and French Vanilla Coffee grounds according to the amount of coffee you wish to make (for instance, if 2 tbsp of grounds total are necessary, then measure out 1 tbsp of the Pumpkin Spice, and 1 tbsp of the French Vanilla) and brew coffee according to instructions and desired brew strength.
Add 1-2 tbsp of the Pumpkin Pie Creme Liquor to the bottom of your chosen coffee mug (or more, depending on desired strength), add coffee, and sweeten to taste with sugar.
Top off with half and half or milk, dust with cinnamon, and serve.
