Healthy Meal Ideas

When people find out that I spent 3 years losing 70+ pounds, despite the fact that I’ve put most of that back on many people want to know what I did. The answer is a simple one, but one most don’t often want to hear: I worked out 5 days a week and ate well.

Since I shared my old Fitness routine, I figured I would also share some common meals I ate during that same time frame.

Breakfast

[01] Quinoa with Strawberry Oikos Greek Yoghurt, milk, and 1tbsp Brown Sugar plus a Blueberry Bagal with Peanut Butter

[02] Baked Oatmeal and Quinoa with Egg White, Brown Sugar, Blueberries, Strawberries, Banana, Cranberries, and Strawberry Oikos Greek Yoghurt.

[03] Organic Quick Oats with Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, Clove, and Milk, plus a Bananna

[04] Blueberry Waffle made with Bisquick Waffle and Pancake Mix, Milk, Blueberries, and Protein Powder, topped with Maple Syrup.

[05] Periwinkle Protein Pancakes (Personal Recipe) plus Eggs

[06] Two Eggs cooked with Black Olives, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Tomatoes, and Mushrooms

[07] Omelet made with 2 Egg Whites and 1 Whole Egg, Eggplant, Squash, Zuchinni, Tomato, spinach, and Mushrooms

[08] Plain Waffle topped with Butter and Syrup.

Morning Snack

[01] Strawberries, Bannana, Kiwi, ½ can Jumex Strawberry Kiwi Nectar, Ice, and 1 container Oikos Strawberry Greek Yoghurt + ½ Scoop Muscle Milk Vanilla Cream Protein Powder, and 3 finely crushed Puritain Pride “Hair, Skin, Nails” women’s Multiviamins. Blend in Blender.

[02] Mango, Pineapple, ½ can Jumex Pineapple Coconut Nectar, 1 container Oikos Plain Greek Yoghurt, Ice, + ½ Scoop Muscle Milk Vanilla Cream Protein Powder, and 3 finely crushed Puritain Pride “Hair, Skin, Nails” women’s Multiviamins. Blend in Blender.

[03] Red Pear, Red Apple, Low Sugar Organic Apple Juice, 1 container Oikos Honey Greek Yoghurt, + ½ Scoop Muscle Milk Vanilla Cream Protein Powder, and 3 finely crushed Puritain Pride “Hair, Skin, Nails” women’s Multiviamins. Blend in Blender. Blend in Blender.

[04] Blueberries, Bannana, Milk, Oikos Blueberry Greek Yoghurt, Ice, + ½ Scoop Muscle Milk Vanilla Cream Protein Powder, and 3 finely crushed Puritain Pride “Hair, Skin, Nails” women’s Multiviamins. Blend in Blender.

Lunch

[01] Salmon Patty Soft Tacos. 1 can pink Salmon mixed with 1 egg white and fried in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, serves with Tartar Sauce, Kale, Black Olives, Tomato, Sauted Onions, and Cheese, on White Tortillas.

[02] Red Miso Soup, Baby Sugar Snap Peas Sauted in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Butter, and Fried Brown Rice with Soy Sauce.

[03] Two Turkey Dogs with Ketchup on White Hot Dog Buns, and two Cellary Sticks topped with Ken’s Steakhouse Honey Mustard Salad Dressing.

[04] Omelet made with 3 whole Eggs, Spinach, Kale, Tomatoes, and Munster Cheese, topped with 1 tbsp Sour Cream and Red Pepper Flakes.

[05] Two Cheese Quesedilas made with Tomatoes, Cheddar Jack Cheese, and White Tortillas, cooked in Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

[06] Surimi and Baby Sugar Snap Peas cooked in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Butter, over Whole Wheat Spaghetti Noodles.

[07] Waffles made with Bisquick Pancake and Waffle Batter, Zuchinni, Squash, and Milk, topped with Ranch Dressing.

[08] Two Cheese Quesedilas cooked in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and topped with Sour Cream and Tomatoes.

Afternoon Snack

[01] Celery Sticks and Strawberries.

[02] Mushrooms. Pistacios, and Baby Sugar Snap Peas sauted in Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

[03] 1 whole cucumber cubbed in Italian Salad Dressing.

[04] Butter Biscuites stuffed with Surimi and Baby Sugar Snap Peas, then baked and server with Ranch Dressing.

[05] Curried (Golden) Baby Sugar Snap Peas and Cubbed Tofu.

Dinner

[01] Home Made Sicilian Style Spaghetti with Black Olives, Parmesean Cheese, and Garlic Bread.

[02] Home Made Chicken, Vegetable, And Dumpling Soup with Saltine Crackers.

[03] Home Made Nachos

[04] Curried (Golden) Chicken with Baby Sugar Snap Peas, Pistachiosm and Mushrooms over Quinoa boiled in Chicken Broth.

[05] Oven-Roasted Duck, Rosemary and Olive Oil baked Potato Cubes, and Brussel Sprouts sauted in Butter.

[06] Friend Smoked Keilbasa, Potatoes, Pineapple Chunks, and Onion.

[07] Home Made Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans

Desert

[01] Home Made Coffee Streussel Cake (Personal Recipe)

[02] Guinness Extra Stout Cranberry Oat Bread (Personal Recipe)
