Cake Magic!: Mix & Match Your Way to 100 Amazing Combinations
by Caroline Wright
Via NetGalley‘s services, I was approved to receive a free early release copy of this book in exchange for a review of its contents. I am not being compensated for the contents of this review and all views expressed here are my own.
This book is scheduled for public release in April of 2016. As a result, the quotes and content of the early release copy discussed here may not appear the same in the final edition when released.
Honestly, I don’t know what to say. I could sing praises about this book all day, but the words just won’t flow. So like the book, I’ll keep this review short and sweet.
This book takes a bit of time to get used to navigating, but once you get used to it it is truly an innovative book- and the navigation methodology is efficient to boot. Each recipe is laid out on its own page with a nice, vibrant picture to go along with it. The instructions are short, clear, and to the point with no unnecessary frill or fluff. Furthermore, the font is easy to read and the combinations truly are endless- though it does contain plenty of recipes to get your creative juices flowing. The week I received access to it, I even made the Tuxedo Cake listed in the book and it was absolutely delicious.
Hands down, this is the best book that I have received from NetGallery so far. I’m happy to have bee accepted for an Early Release Copy of it and will definitely be purchasing a copy of it once it has been released.
