A Bit of a Shopping Spree

This week we had more money that we’ve had in a long time; we payed off the first of our Loans, making us one step closer to being debt free; my Husband also received a holiday bonus that was pretty wonderful, and we also woke up to a payment for my book- something I did not expect for another week at least. Needless to say, we certainly celebrated a bit.

Well… He didn’t, but I did. I picked up a few items for myself, as well as a few items that are for both of us.

First things first, I dipped into my personal fun and purchased 4 skirts. You’ll recognize them from my plan for Wardrobe changes that I wrote about not too long ago.

I did not purchase all of them on my list, but I did purchase the cheaper ones that I could afford at the moment. Those include Lilybop’s Peggy Skirt in their Black and Pink Floral print, and three Grace Karin VL6294 skirts in different patterns (f-06, f-08, and f-18). The others will have to wait, but needless to say I am very, very excited to receive these.

I am also very excited that I managed to convince the lovely Katja over at Witch of the Forests to buy the F-06 patterned Grace Karin skirt alongside me.  Call me strange, but having a matching skirt with a good friend halfway across the country is exciting- almost as well as bestie necklaces, honestly.

While I originally purchased it for myself because of the colors, I couldn’t help but enthusiastically share that particular one with her. Hailing originally from Arizona before transplanting to the Pacific Northwest, though, Katja loves anything to do with Succulents. I am forever picking up Cacti themed cards for her when I do my RedBubble shopping, so I had to share the F-06 pattern with her when I found it and realized it included them in the pattern.
