My Cabinet Beauty Essentials

Items on this list are subject to change at a moment’s notice as I explore the world of Beauty Products. At the moment, however, here is the list of things I consider essential to my daily routine; this post isn’t sponsored by any of the companies who produce the products listed here. But i’m definitely in love with many of them at the moment.

Bar Soap products are always from Yardley London. There are only 3 of their scents sold in stores in my area; I prefer scents like “Lemon Verbena” and “Oatmeal Almond” out of the 3- though I’d love to find their Rose soaps.

Sugar and Salt Scrubs are usually always from Tree Hut. I prefer their scents like “Hawaiian Kukui”, “Brazilian Nut”, “Italian Mocha”, or “Original Shea” for their Sugar Scrubs, and “Fig and Olive” for their Salt Scrubs.

Facial Scrubs, masks, and Cleansers vary by day of the week: St. Ives’ Oatmeal Scrub + Mask; Mary Kay’s Timewise 3-in-1 Cleanser for Normal to Dry Skin; California Concept’s Pure Aloe Vera Masque; occasionally I’ll pick up a bunch of random $1.50 Mask Samples from WalMart and use them instead, and about once a month I’ll use Lush’s Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask on my pampering days.

Shampoo and Conditioners vary. I used to use Nature’s Gate Organics products a lot, but I can’t find their products where I am and can’t afford to order them online anymore. Now I usually use either Suave’s Keratin Therapy line or Garnier’s Whole Blends line instead- or whatever is available and doesn’t make my hair feel like crud.

I always use the same Deep Conditioning Hair Mask: Organic Root Stimulant “Hair Mayonnaise”.

I use the same products for oral care each day.  Arm and Hammer Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste with Oragel, and Crest 3D White Luxe Glamorous White Alcohol Free Mouthwash; I have too much bunching with my teeth to fit floss between them- something I hope to remedy later with braces once all of my Wisdom Teeth have been removed.

All baths are followed by a moisturizing routine that pretty much never changes. I use Aveno’s (Baby Line) Eczema Therapy Oatmeal Moisturizing Lotion on my hands and feet to help control my Pompolyx, and Vaseline’s Intensive Care Coco Radiant Body Oil / Gel on the rest of my body for my dry skin. My face gets a spritz with Oxyglow’s Rose Petal Refreshing Skin Toner, followed up by one pump of Ooh La La Boutique’s Organic Rosehip Oil (both of which are easy to get on Ebay with Free Shipping).

I also take supplements regularly: 3 a day of Puritan Pride “Hair, Skin, and Nails” Multivitamin Formula; 2 a day of Vitafusion’s “B12 Adult Gummy Vitamin”; 2 a day of Vitafusion’s “Power C Adult Gummy Vitamin”; 2 a day of Vitafusion’s “Vitamin D Adult Gummy Vitamin”.
